Solid Chess puzzles app with an easy to use user interface. Worth the $0.99

This chess puzzle app is fantastic! I would get this again and again and again.

Im trying to get better at chess and these puzzles are great exercises. The options that are given in this app also helps tremendously. World champs is better though, its more challenging.

It certainly helps to do these practice sessions because we can look for these patterns in actual games.

A great fun app that will improve your way of analyzing the position and making the correct first move that leads to mate. Great way to sharpen your thinking.

This is a pretty straight forward game using real matches as a baseline to mate in 2,3,4, and 5 moves. Great to brush up on your skills and a few of them are pretty tricky.

Its a fun game to play and it massively improves your situational awareness and playing. When I started I could barely see the "2 moves ahead" mates and now Im at 4.

This is the 2nd of these apps that Ive bought and its fantastic! Great fun. Great training.

Its a great source, would be nicer if next and previous puzzle button was more obvious. Thanks guys

Since I have been playing , Ive noticed that my reaction and recognition skills have greatly increased. Highly recommend!

This seems to be helping my game a bit! Fun too.

I have their other app Champs. Both are really great. You gain an appreciation for what checkmate really means--and the importance of forcing you opponent into vulnerable positions. Im assuming this app is best for beginner/intermediate players, but masters may enjoy the fact that your speed is timed. Thanks for making this!

Interesting puzzles. Really improved my chess skills.

Unfortunately, the "solver" rarely works if at all. And these mates can easily be solved with an extra move so not much of a challenge.

It is quite a good little app for those of us who enjoy solving chess puzzles.

The limitations on moves will force you to see new possibilities on the board. Its true that these mates can be solved with more moves, but learning to creatively work yourself out of dire situations is priceless

seems like this app hasnt really been updated since ipad 1. same issues exist and same mistakes. the solver has not worked on many problems since Ipad 1, and now in the ipad air 2 era the same issue exist. You are given a puzzle, you cant find the answer so you decide to ask the solver for the solution, only to have the solver tell it cant be solved. so you waste time solving a puzzle with out a solution. Not just a few puzzles but many puzzles. Also many are wrong. also many puzzles will say mate in something but if you enter it into a chess engine the mate is in a different number. They need to stop selling this app which has had the same problems since ipad 1 until its corrected and they should check their puzzles with a chess engine that is legit.

Great fun! The mate in 4+ really helped improve my game.
